Background:  When we first meet Tohr he is mated to Wellsie and she finds out soon after she is pregnant with their first child.  Tohr and Wellsie take in John Matthew when he is discovered and brought to the attention of the Brotherhood. He is a leader within the Brotherhood organization and right hand to Wrath. Things fall apart for him when his enemies get to his wife and unborn child. He disappears in his grief and is found by Lassiter and brought back in the tenth book in the serie's Lover Reborn, where he gets a second chance at love with Autumn.

Relationships:  Originally mated to Wellsie, who is killed by the Lessors along with their unborn child early on in the series. Wellsie and Tohr take John Matthew in when he comes to the Brotherhood, so JM is like a son to him.  He was good friends with Darius, Beth's father who is actually reincarnated in the form of John Matthew.  In Lover Reborn he meets Autumn, who he mates. Autumn is Xhex's mother. It was also recently discovered that he is Xcor's brother.
