Background: Z's story is told in the third book of the series, Lover Awakened.  There is also a novella dedicated to him called, Father Mine. He was taken as a child and kept as a sex slave, among other things. He has slave band tattoos at his neck and wrists. He also has a scar down the middle of his face. He was saved by his twin, Phury, but was a mean nasty SOB until Bella came into his life. He has a beautiful singing voice.

Relationships: He is a member of the Black Dagger Brotherhood, an elite group of warriors that protect the vampire race and are the Kings Guard. He is mated to Bella, and had a daughter, Nalla.  He also has a twin, Phury. He has seen Mary for therapy.
