Wrath Drive By

 The older I get, the harder it is for me to deal with photographing my big dolls. It probably doesn't make it any easier that they are all getting up there in age and need re-stringing (a chore I haven't felt like tackling). So, a couple of shots of Wrath, just because it's been too long since he's been photographed.

Lassiter

 In honor of everyone's favorite Angel getting his own book, which is coming out in a month, I thought I'd get my resin version of Lassiter out for some new photos. Unfortunately, he has had some resin color change, so have tried to do some color adjustments. I still love how he turned out.  Lyn did an amazing job on him.

A Mother's Love

 In honor of Mother's Day, a couple of shots of Bella with Nalla.

Xhex in the Shadows

 One of my goals for 2022 is to take new photos of one of my Brotherhood characters at least once a month. Since I've been wanting to see what Xhex looked like on the HID body, it was her turn this month. 

Since Xhex is a vampire/Sympath mix I had fun playing with edits and shadowing.

Dark Lover

 In honor of Valentine's Day I wanted to get some new photos of the couple that started it all, and my favorite couple in the Brotherhood world, Wrath and Beth. I would love to have both these dolls in FID size, as the EID sizes are a bit hard to wrangle, but I bit the bullet today and was pleased with the results. These two always speak to me.

I have a Vampire head that I use for Wrath (as well as his normal head), so decided since I was playing to go all out and take some photos using both.

I love how Lyn did the eyebrows on Vamp Wrath with just a wing at the top of them.

This photo is an homage to the early book covers. I love how it turned out.

The Sympath King

 One of my goals for 2022 is to enjoy my Brotherhood dolls more than I did last year. Even though I've made the decision not to actively add any more characters (or at least in the near future), I would still like to appreciate the ones I have a bit more than I have the past couple of years. So today I decided to photograph the "other" king in the Brotherhood world.............Rehvenge, King of the Sympaths.

Rehv shares a body with Rhage and Wrath too, and his body needs to be restrung badly, so wanted to get some new shots of him before I restring the body and put one of the other heads on for a turn.

While he isn't my all time favorite character in the series, I do like him and wish we got to see more of him and Ehlena together. 

I love his mohawk wig I got from Chewin. It really pulled his character together for me.

Time with the Queen

 I didn't spend much time at all with my Brotherhood dolls in 2021. I hope to remedy that a bit in 2022. While I don't plan on actively adding to their numbers, I would like to enjoy the dolls I have that represent characters in this universe more. Beth has always been my favorite shellan. She was one of the first dolls I shelled in this universe and is still a firm favorite.

She and Wrath are my favorite couple in the Brotherhood world as well. I really want to make time to spend more time with both of them in 2022.

Beth really needs to be restrung, as she is one of my earliest BJD's, but her face up is still as stunning as ever.

Beth

 Just spending some time with Beth today as she got a new dress, and its been way too long since she had some time in front of the camera.

She was one of the first dolls I shelled in the Brotherhood world, and she's still a favorite. Beth is my favorite shellan if I had to pick just one.

Making Up

 Spending some time with Blay and Qhuinn today. At one point I considered re-shelling Blay as he is a bit darker resin than truly fits my idea of the character. I love the sculpt so much, and I've had him as Blay for so long now that I just can't reshell him......................I decided when I photographed him with Qhuinn I would just do the photos in black and white instead.

Mourning

 For those of you that may have already read " A Warm Heart in Winter"..............you will know what inspired these photos.  

My heart broke for Lassiter in this book. We got to see another side of him and an insight into why he behaves how he does at times.

I have to say I really loved him in this book. I always enjoy his antics, but I loved seeing a different sides of him in A Warm Heart in Winter.

I really look forward to seeing what happens when he goes up against Devina. I also am really looking forward to Adrian and Eddie from the Fallen Angels series showing up in the Brotherhood world.

 

Some Brother Love

 What do you do when it's too dark and overcast outside to take new pics...................play with edits on older photos! I felt like spending time with my Brotherhood guys today, but its just too dark and overcast to take new photos, so I looked through older photos and did some new edits on them. First up, the King.

Then Rhage got some attention. PicMonkey updated their software so now I'm having to re-learn where everything is, so this was a good exercise to practice. I thought this pic of Rhage made him look like he was coming through the mhis.

Nalla

 Just a close up shot of Nalla, as I had her out for some new photos today. She has her Daddy's eyes.

The Lovely Ehlena

 Took some new photos of the lovely Ehlena since she is spending some time on the body (she shares the body with Payne)  and was dressed in this beautiful lingerie. I've had the lingerie for so long I've forgotten who made it, but it really is lovely. You can click on the pics for larger views.
