Sometimes you Disagree

I don't imagine it's easy being mated to the daughter of a deity. Her protective instincts are as strong as his and she's as deadly as any of the Brothers.

Being the only human male in a mansion full of vampires could also be a bit a trial.

But at the end of the day...…...Manny really likes his life, even if he's not always thrilled with his mates job.

Dr On Call

It's been a while since I've had Manny out and since I just read Lover Unleashed (he and Payne's book) again in preparation for the Sinner, I felt compelled to get him in front of the camera.

He and V are probably the 2 characters that their resin counterparts come closest to how I have always seen the characters in my head when I read. Wrath and Beth are really close as well, but Manny is almost exactly how I see him when I read.

I've been very lucky over the years to find artists with the skills to help me in bringing my vision of the dolls to "life". My friend Lyn who did Manny's face paint, (as well as finding me his stethoscope). Helen in NZ did Manny's scrubs and Dr coat. She even embroidered his name on his coat. All the special touches really add to the "realism" I strive for when photographing the dolls.

I wish I had a second set of scrubs for the guys as well as the girls, so V could "assist" and Jane and Ehlena could be in the same picture. At the moment I only have one set ea. Ehlena assisting Manny below.

An Appropriate Prop

I noticed not too long ago that Iplehouse (the company that makes most of the dolls pictured here) now had "daggers" in the weapons section of their website, so of course I had to get one to see if they would work well for the guys of the Brotherhood. I ordered a set of the new hands (shaped to actually hold the daggers) for V to go along with his new dagger, and they arrived today, so a perfect excuse to take some new V pics.

I also got some new gloves for him, as his old glove was so old, the pleather had started peeling. This set of gloves is longer than the old ones, but it works.

Gosh I so love this doll...………...he really is so how I see V in my head.
